What Darts Does Mitchell Lawrie Use? Full Setup Explained

Mitchell Lawrie is one of the most exciting young talents in darts. Scottish teenager “Wee Sox” won the WDF World Youth Championship at Lakeside, and on the same day made the final of the WDF World Championship where he was runner-up.
Mitchell joined the manufacturer’s Elite 1 program at the end of 2023 and has been with Target ever since, which has helped him develop along the way in his rise in the sport. In March 2026 he signed a new deal with Target, extending his partnership with the manufacturer as he continues to make a name for himself as darts’ brightest young prospect.

In this article, we will break down what darts Mitchell Lawrie uses on stage and how you can get close to replicating his setup, even though the actual barrels he uses aren't commercially available to buy.

First off, the barrels that "Wee Sox" uses are not available for purchase commercially. When competing on stage he uses his own custom made darts from Target.
He used to play with the Target Sync 02 barrels, a set of darts that are now discontinued by Target, at Lakeside in 2025. But now you can still see some of the characteristics of that original barrel design in his custom darts.
The closest thing available commercially to Mitchell Lawrie’s setup would be the Target Bolide 01 barrels which share some of the characteristics of the barrels that Lawrie has used throughout his career.

The K-Flex and Swiss Points Mitchell uses make his setup a lot easier to recreate as both are commercially available to purchase and we stock them here at Double Top Dart Shop.

Firstly we will look at the Swiss Points Lawrie uses which are the Target Swiss Firepoint Black in 35mm. These points add a little extra length to the front of the barrel and also give you an extra place to grip right on the point. This makes them a good option for players who like to hold their darts further up and want to put their fingers on both the barrel and the point.

Now we get to the final part of Mitchell Lawrie’s darting set-up — the K-Flex “Wee Sox” he uses when he steps on stage. As we said before, this part of his setup is also available to buy from us here at Double Top Dart Shop.
Lawrie's Target R2D2 K-Flex is in the No.6 shape and Intermediate length. But this hasn’t always been his choice in flights. He used plain black K-Flex originally, but Lakeside in 2025 gave him a Christmas themed K-Flex design. He started preferring to have a pattern on his flights instead of a plain colour after using those, and eventually he changed to the R2D2 K-Flex which has a distinctive design on the flight.
