What's Included in the Target Japan September Launch
The Target Japan September launch features an impressive mix of new barrel designs to suit a wide range of throwing styles and player abilities. This release introduces brand new player darts for:
Paul Lim
Mitsumasa Hoshino
Toru Suzuki
Mayuko Morita
Launching as well is the special edition Miracle Rising Sun Champions Set, a premium collection that pairs the iconic Mikuru Suzuki The Miracle G7 and Haruki Muramatsu Rising Sun G10 barrels to celebrate two of Target Japan’s most recognisable players.
There are also new K-Flex designs by Target Japan for Mitsumasa Hoshino with his Pyro branding and a new K-Flex design for Mayuko Morita with her Mayo branding.
New Target Japan Player darts
Player darts make up a huge part of this launch, with four new generations joining the Target Japan range. Paul Lim, Mitsumasa Hoshino, Toru Suzuki and Mayuko Morita all recieved updated models with steel tip and soft tip versions available across the range.
Target Japan’s latest release sees the return of legendary darts player Paul Lim’s famous Legend range, featuring the Generation 10 barrel and continuing his long standing association with the brand. The new Target Japan barrels are manufactured from a 90% tungsten and come in 23g and 25g Swiss Point versions, and a 20g soft tip version. The Singapore Slinger’s reputation in the game is an iconic one. He famously hit the first ever nine-dart finish at the World Championship in 1990. Decades later and he’s still competing at a high level and still releasing new signature darts with Target Japan.

Mitsumasa Hoshino’s Pyro range continues on into Generation 12 with another highly detailed Target Japan barrel that retains the bold styling of the Pyro series. These darts feature intricate machining on the barrel with a black and silver finish which gives them a very modern look. The Swiss Point models are available in 23g and 25g, while the soft tip version is available in 17g, giving players of both versions of the game the opportunity to use these new barrels. As part of this launch, Target Japan have also released a new range of Pyro K-Flex designs alongside the new darts, offering players the choice to finish the setup with matching integrated flights and shafts.
The new Target Japan Pyro K-Flex is available in:
• No.6 Short, Intermediate, and Medium
• No.2 Short, Intermediate, and Medium
Toru Suzuki Sereno Generation 3
Toru Suzuki’s Sereno range is in its third generation with one of the most distinctive colour schemes in the Target Japan September launch. Finished in silver with bold blue accents, these 90% tungsten barrels are a departure from more traditional styles.
The barrel has several different machining patterns and well defined grip zones, giving players a variety of areas to hold depending on their preferred grip position. Swiss Point models are offered in 22g and 24g, while the soft tip version can be found in 21g.
Mayuko Morita Mayo Generation 8
Mayuko Morita is back with the Mayo Generation 8 and another colourful design to the Target Japan Prime Series. The 90% tungsten barrel is purple throughout giving the darts a bold and eye catching look that stands out from the other September player releases.
The Swiss Point version is available in 23g and 25g and the soft tip model is available in 18g, giving players of both formats a chance to play with the latest Mayo design. Target Japan have also released a new Mayo K-Flex with the new barrels for the September release, completing the set with a matching flight and shaft system.
The new Target Japan Mayo K-Flex is available in:
• No.6 Short, Intermediate, and Medium
• No.2 Short, Intermediate, and Medium
The Miracle Rising Sun Champion Set
One of the highlights of the Target Japan September launch is the Miracle Rising Sun Limited Edition Champion Set. This set has been given a much more premium feel than a standard player release, with 95% tungsten darts, special presentation packaging and additional accessories. The set celebrates married couple Haruki Muramatsu and Mikuru Suzuki, who both won the annual soft tip rankings for men and women in the same season. In celebration, the barrel is fashioned from elements of both players’ signature darts, with the front section of Mikuru Suzuki’s Miracle barrel and the rear section of Haruki Muramatsu’s Rising Sun design. This mix makes the Miracle Rising Sun a truly unique edition release that combines two iconic Target Japan player ranges into one commemorative barrel, and creates a dart with a story behind its design.
Available in a 23 Gram and 25 Gram steel tip and a 21.5 Gram soft tip set, only 500 sets are available in each weight. With such limited numbers available these darts are a great addition to any Target Japan or player darts collection.
