About Adam Lipscombe

Adam Lipscombe has been around the darts circuit for a number of years. He initially made a name for himself on the MODUS Super Series, where he built up a following before breaking onto the PDC circuit. One of the biggest achievements of his career so far came when he reached the last 16 of the Players Championship Finals, where he faced Daryl Gurney.

One of the more unusual Q School stories is how Adam earned his PDC Tour Card. He appeared to be out, but another player pulled out at the last minute and he was called back to Milton Keynes for another shot. Adam grabbed his second chance, battling through to win a full two year PDC Tour Card and secure his place on the professional circuit.

Away from the oche, Adam is a passionate Portsmouth FC fan, and his link with his home town is clear in his playing shirt, with the Portsmouth crest incorporated into the design.

How Does Adam Play?

Adam is a graceful giant on the oche, with a style of play that is smooth and controlled rather than the more explosive approach of some professional players like Gerwyn Price or Luke Littler. His throw has a steady, methodical rhythm, and his calm approach has some similarities to the controlled style associated with James Wade.

Adam's cool demeanour is perfect for this style of play, rarely looking hurried as he moves around the board in a controlled fashion.

Why Follow Adam Lipscombe?

Adam Lipscombe has exploded onto the PDC ProTour recently, quickly establishing himself against some of the very best in the game. Adam has the scoring power to compete with players at the top level, and he's already shown what he can do with an average of 115.62 during the MODUS Super Series.

Adam's professional journey is far from over, and he will have many chances to pit himself against established names and continue to develop his game. He is an exciting player to watch.
